Kemar Brown was a truck driver from California who was pulled over in Indiana by the DOT who would discover 100 pounds of meth in his tractor trailer
According to police reports Kemar Brown was traveling through Indiana when he was pulled over by Indiana State Police. After talking with the truck driver for a bit they noticed a number of indicators that something was not added up
Indiana State Troopers would search the truck and trailer to discover 100 pounds of meth.
Kemar Brown would be arrested and has been charged with possessing and dealing methamphetamine.
It goes without saying that some criminal elements use truck drivers in order to ship their drugs and other illegal material across the country. Seems every few days I read a story about another truck driver being arrested and charged. Since I live within sight of the border I tend to hear reports of some truck driver attempting to drive into Canada or into the United States with a trailer that is attempting to smuggle drugs
If you are attempting to smuggle drugs across the country or into another country it is only a matter of time before you are caught. As a Canadian I hope you are caught on the United States side as their penalties are much more stricter than they are in Canada

Indiana State Police seized 100 pounds of meth during a semi inspection on Saturday.
According to a press release, troopers stopped a Freightliner semi on Interstate 70 at mile marker 41 — which is located near Cloverdale — around 4:20 p.m. to complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance inspection. Police reported that, during their inspection, they observed “criminal indicators,” which led to a probable cause search of the truck.
Law enforcement’s search of the semi yielded 100 pounds of methamphetamine. The meth — which state police believe has a street value of around half a million dollars — was found in the semi’s trailer.
ISP arrested the semi’s driver — 33-year-old Kemar Brown of San Bernardino, California — after the inspection. He was later transported to the Putnam County Jail, where he is now being held on the following preliminary charges:
Dealing methamphetamine — a Level 2 Felony
Possession of methamphetamine — a Level 3 felony.
In Indiana, the maximum penalty for a Level 2 Felony is a 30-year prison sentence and a fine of up to $10,000. A Level 3 Felony in Indiana carries a maximum prison term and fine of 16 years and $10,000, respectively.
