Needless to say Gerasimos Livieratos career in the trucking industry is over and now he is facing years in the State prison
Marijuana may be legal in a number of States and all through Canada however the DOT still considers it a banned substance. Until the day comes when marijuana is considered legal by the DOT it is going to be treated like alcohol.
There is no reason to be high and driving a virtual tank that is capable of massive damage. There is a reason why every truck company drug tests their drivers and why DOT sends out notices for truck drivers to take random drug tests. Drugs and or alcohol plus trucking equals disaster.
